Introducing 2024 #AstronautScholars Stephen Argauer and Chloe Nyhart from @virginiatech!
Stephen is pursuing a major in chemistry with minors in mathematics and leadership/service. In his research, he is examining photophysical properties of gold containing compounds and analyzing the process of converting carbon dioxide into formic acid to be used as a hydrogen carrier for fuels. Chloe is pursuing a major in nanomedicine with minors in science, technology and law. She conducted her undergraduate research at the Integrated Cellular Responses Laboratory at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.
