Two loops clear of this vertical shmup released by Nichibutsu in 1986.
Old style STG, take great inspiration from anime like Grendizer,
its a spinoff of the Cresta series and retain a similar mechanic
expanding it by adding three UFO final weapon.
Pretty charmy game with an addicting soundtrack,
is also unforgiving, i barely made it to loop 3 (loop end after killing boss 4).
I played on Wolfmame 0.249 with a moderate 10hz autofire.

![ZeroRanger (Normal Mode) 1CC [Type B I-III-VI]
Clear of this fantastic shmup developed by System Erasure
and realesed on Steam in 2018.
Game is a vertical shmup (with some horizontal section) with a palette
composed by only four color (green, orange, black and white),
full of reference to other famous shmup like Gradius, R-type, Cho Ren Sha
and many others but the most distinctive feature is the story mode
that must be completed to unlock the full game, no spoiler on that.
Gameplay is various and dynamic thanks to the adaptive rank system
and a lot of selectable weapon to choose from, unlocked throughout the game,
that give flexibility in dealing with stages and bosses.
Scoring is based mostly on chaining enemies to keep a high multiplier,
easy in the first stages but require an heavy routing later on.
I played more survival than scoring but i did well enough (apart from a very bad stage 1.4)
to earn the ZeroRanger achivement, basically i did all challenge in one run,
so im pretty satisfied.
