Here is the second day of the strongest locomotives in action! In May of 2025, the California State Railroad Museum ran their two strongest locomotives to pull their passenger excursion trains. There was a World's Strongest Man event in town so they wanted to run their two strongest locomotives that weekend to pull the trains. It was quite the amazing sight to both EMD built F40PH and SD45T-2 "tunnel motor" in action. Both were built in the 1970s, too! The AMTK 281 and SP 6819 definitely got their workout in during this weekend, so enjoy the action along the Sacramento Southern Railroad.
Thanks for watching! đđŧ
