With Kevin our melodeon player away on a short holiday, fiddle player Robin and myself recorded another eight sets of tunes this week.
Set 3 is a tune written by Shetlander Tom Anderson shortly after his wife died. It reflects the depopulation of his Eshaness birthplace.
Each time another family left, another light was extinguished or snuffed out as indicated by the Scandinavian word "Slockit".
