Turn off the Century Beverly Place 32" ceiling fan in oil rubbed bronze. This is another fan that I found in the trash during Cleanup Week 2025. I promptly ditched the light kit, I'm really not a fan of bowl lights on fans this small. They just look too oversized and clunky. Actually, I never really thought I liked these at all. Between the light, and the wide blades, really not my vibe. But I actually don't mind the overall look and proportions without the light kit. When I first saw this, I thought it was a Hunter, and once I realized it was this I almost didn't take it just because my interest was not piqued. However, I've always got use for another smol, so it came home. Originally was flush mounted, I of course added a downrod per my usual preference. Runs well, but has some annoying hum that really vibrates a lot. For a fan this small, I was impressed with the speed selection. Low could of course always be slower, but it's not bad, and the functional aspect is pretty solid. Overall condition is pretty good, blades are rough here and there, but this side of the finish is fair. This blade finish is kind of cool in how it shifts the vibe, and the motor finish almost looks like more of a dark graphite color. Oil rubbed bronze is not really one of my favorite finish palettes; just another reason I wasn't particularly fond of these, but this combo leans more into my tastes. Tempted to refinish the blade edges to black for a more cohesive look, as the more typical wood side isn't in as good of condition anyways.
