Casablanca Eula 52" ceiling fan in brass with matte black blades. Operated using the included wall control. Continuing the journey of upward trajectory from the 2025 Casablanca releases, this was the design that really got me. There's bit of edge to it, somewhat unexpected among the other items, but not out of place and still elegant. It gives me the same kind of progressive vibe that I feel with high-end contemporary showroom products from the likes of Casablanca, Homestead, and Emerson in the 90's; ones that went a little risky and off the wall, but found payoff with the innovation. I do prefer it with the no-light cap, but wanted to show the light for the full demo. Now if the lighting could get an upgrade in terms of dimming range and advanced features, this would be a nearly perfect new product in my eyes. Again, the readjusted low speed setting was such an improvement to make the function and look of the latest products vastly better. I'd take even slower, but you will not hear me complaining a word about what they've already done. It's so good and is in line with Modern Forms, another top favorite. Pair all of that with one of the best DC motors I've ever worked with, and you've got something worth buying here. I know there are still people hung up on the Hunterization of Casablanca, and I get it, but I've moved past that and am focusing on the next era. They might not be the absolute highest-end products anymore, but Casablanca is packing a lot of style, performance, and value into mid-tier price points these days. It's worth taking a renewed outlook on this line in the landscape of new products.
