This page isn't for any other series or challenge -- just an experiment at making a Calvinball page that doesn't LOOK like a Calvinball page. I started with a pre-made cluster from the recent Vicki Boutin class and that led to the selection of the 2012-era paper from Fancy Pants "Swagger" collection. From there I pulled embellishments to reinforce the color scheme, making sure to include the greens that featured in the cluster along with the red/orange/navy colors of the Astros uniforms. There are lots of "random" items tucked in among the tickets that are clustered with the hidden journaling behind the photo and I really like that idea of minimizing the "clutter" of so many different embellies. There's even a bit of stitching on this one, some tatted lace and a hidden avocado over there by the hedgehog, penguin and turtle.....Makes sense to me....
