Scrappy Kathy | Frosty Days || Scrap a Sketch DT Page using a Premium Sketch, Winter's Tale Printables & SaS Stencil @scrappykathy | Uploaded April 2024 | Updated October 2024, 42 minutes ago.
Spring has sprung all around me and yet I'm back to scrapping winter. I'd picked the Winter's Tale printable collection for these photos back in February when I printed them and I filtered them to tone down the contrast so they'd work better with the muted pastels in the printables. I chose a starkly different pattern in the stencil -- a graphic design that contrasts with the snowy dots of the papers -- and selected a few of the embellishments that say "chilly" instead of "holiday" because this collection would SO work for holiday pics especially in snowy parts. I loved this sketch as soon as I saw it and I actually envisioned using different pattterned papers for each size strip, but I really love the subtlety of the design when I put it together using the same pattern throughout. And how cute is that penguin?
