Scrappy Kathy | Take A Photo || LOAD Day 5 || Day 10 of Scrap Squad's 12 Days of Spring Scraplifts @scrappykathy | Uploaded May 2024 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Happy (inter)National Scrapbooking Weekend and Happy Cinco de Mayo and Happy Whatever Day You Want to Celebrate Today! The LOAD prompt was about making something my own (which I do with ALL sketches and scraplifts so I did it again) and to include plaid in honor of Sean Connery's Scottish heritage. I have a bit of Scottish heritage myself, not just from the McElfresh I married but also from both my parents' sides so I had to include a family tartan ..... and I liked the McElfresh plaid best even if the color was a bit more vivid than the palette I had chosen for the page.
I used Where to Next? by Vicki Boutin which I'm using for all my son's recent Colorado trip photos. I love everything about this collection AND the scraplift for Day 10 of the Spring event over at Scrap Squad. It was easy to "make it my own" as the prompt said and i managed to sneak in a couple slivers of the plaid.
Thanks for watching and I'll see you next time!
