We all love a good grid, right? Well this one that Paige did years ago is one of my favorites -- there are so many ways you could go embellishing each square -- on it, around it, behind it -- and each interpretation takes on a life and character of its own. The story here is about keeping a long-lived tradition even though John's not here to partake with us, but remembering him with laughter and all the best stories. James was off on a business trip and Ava was with her mom so Katie and B and I sat outside on a lovely evening at one of John's favorite restaurants and Katie took a couple selfies to mark the occasion. I filtered the photos so my loud orangey shirt wouldn't clash with the softer colors of the patterned papers I chose -- all of which aare from the 2x2 pads of Wonders, Go the Scenic Route, and Splendid by Paige. I used lots of Bramble Fox goodies and a few bits of wood veneer from my stash -- all atop a stenciled sunburst using a Bramble Fox stencil and a baby wipe.....
