There's a lot going on here -- celebrating Christmas 1983 with all the pets, scrapping backwards from decidedly non-Christmas supplies using (for the second time) one of the March subscription sketches from scrapasketch.com AND tucking in a whole slew of Calvinball points!
As I pulled the supplies from my kit I allowed myself to pick a photo or photos from the huge stack I'd printed over the past week. There were two taken at Christmas time, although neither looks especially Christmassy. In this one, they're posing in front of the tree but most of the tree is hidden. So I went with a pet theme and a Christmas theme and used spring flowers and all kinds of random (but fun!) items that brings to mind "herding cats" which is exactly what James and John are doing in the photo!
