Tropical Storm Barry Is a moderate system, so far with most of the wind and heavy rain offshore. It could produce 3-6’ of storm surge, and rain of 15-20” on the soil and southeastern portions of Louisiana in the next seven days. Impacts will also extend eastward and inland in Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. Isolated tornadoes become possible, along with rising rivers and flooding rain, and rip currents. Barry may reach minimal hurricane status before landfall.
