Can you balance an egg on the equinox? Yes, but it's a myth that implies that that is the only time you can do it. You can balance an egg on any day of the year. People only seem to try it on the vernal equinox or autumnal equinox because that's when they notice a posting about it on social media or on the Internet. Balancing an egg has nothing to do with seasons, Earth alignment or tilt, or astronomy! It's about practice, patience, and what kind of table top you are trying to balance it on.
