Rather than having to target the little bit of wood, it's also possible to aim the gale high above the platform

![TP: Rocket Link with Chests [Wii]
Discovered by ppltoast, exclusive to the Wii version of Twilight Princess.
Press A to open an underwater chest and pause with - on the same frame. Equip an item over Iron Boots to force unequip them, and after unpausing Link will open the chest without iron boots, and then rocket to the surface.
Works with both small and large chests, however with large chests the camera stays with the chest until you do something.
With large chest: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dggEPnnRFPE
To my knowledge there are only 14 underwater chests in the game (by searching underwater in this document: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1BKkzNcy9CoI0fxXP0qpP8Ony1pb3X1AmsJQ-6_YL8lo/), and most of them arent deep enough for this to matter. ![TP: Goron Mines Key Shard Skip Setupless
With a precise jump from the rotating platform, its possible to grab the ledge by the exit from Gor Ebizos room, skippin the second key shard.
Saves ~35 seconds, and each missed platform cycle is 5s.

To get a good angle, I land on the platform while it turns and run past the corner of the magnetic square. From there I align with a black dot on the wall and run towards it.
There are 1-2 frames (apparently) for the jump, depending on angle and position.

With a jumpslash ledge release you can save an extra second, but it sucks: https://youtu.be/aZQuNMoWKsU

![TP: Forest Temple Bridge Turn Skip Jumpslash Bomb Boost
Used in Forest Temple Any% ILs in order to skip the boomerang completely.

Killing either Bokoblin at the start removes the cutscene trigger when first landing on the bridge, and a single arrow shot on the left [GCN] Bokoblin is enough to lure it off the bridge.
First, get onto the bridge.
The fence on the right side is lower than the left, so a jumpstrike alone is enough to get on top. Mash B for a jumpslash as you land, as if you slip off after landing a jumpslash will put you right back onto the fence. The simply roll along the very wide fence collision and jump onto the bridge
Second, the jumpslash bomb boost
1) Pull a bomb as soon as you land on the bridge
2) Run to the left side at the very edge of the bridge, and aim at the corner of the plank (the surviving Bokoblin wont chase you)
3) After the 5th bomb flash, run off from the very corner, and *while holding target* press B to both drop the bomb behind you and jumpslash
There are multiple working jump and jumpslash frames for this boost, but the frame you need to drop the bomb and jumpslash to successfully boost depends on when you jump. The range for jumping, and jumpslash frames, gets smaller the worse the angle of your jump is towards the plank where you aim to land.
With a good angle:
- Jumping 24 frames before the bomb explodes has a 2 frame jumpslash window, with a B input on frame 9 or 10 of the jump
- Jumping 23 frames before the bomb explodes has a 2 frame jumpslash window, with a B input on frame 9 or 10 of the jump
- Jumping 22 frames before the bomb explodes has a 3 frame jumpslash window, with a B input on frame 8, 9, or 10 of the jump
- Jumping 21 frames before the bomb explodes has a 3 frame jumpslash window, with a B input on frame 7, 8, or 9 of the jump
- Jumping 19-20 frames before the bomb explodes has a 1-2 frame jumpslash window, with a B input on frame 6 or 7 of the jump
Jump frames outside of this range may be possible with perfect angle/position and a frame perfect jumpslash.
The bomb boost is also possible on the right side of the bridge, however its more awkward due to Link holding the bomb on his left: https://youtu.be/UMNpxEywT0A TP: Forest Temple Bridge Turn Skip Jumpslash Bomb Boost](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/6jmYclUXQA4/mqdefault.jpg)
![TP: Early Snowpeak Wolfos Superjump [GCN]
Idea by dragonbane0, discovered by Ekke, improved setup for rta by gymnast
An actually decent quality upload that youtube wont compress to shit so you can see the textures on the snow, kinda important.
Also the two Wolfos that come from the top are called Nymeria and Ghost ok
I jump attack up onto the ledge, turn until Link is facing directly left on the minimap, then target walk to align with a very faint line in the snow, a bit left of the big dark blob. How far forward you are matters, I kinda line up the line of the collision seam with the top of Links boot.
For this position I clawshot the wolfos just as its about to land from its attack, but for different positions you may want to clawshot earlier as it means itll be a bit further back, so more likely to run up the cliff rather than falling down.
The wolfos movement isnt RNG at all according to dragonbane (apart from how long they take to charge at you, but that doesnt affect how the trick works), and is purely dependent on your position and movement. Its annoying though.
I hold ESS after transforming so that wolf link wont slip, and moving to the right first seems to help manipulate the wolfos to run left. Most HD people Ive seen doing this buffer it, which I havent had much success with, but give it a go, maybe itll work better for you. Have to hold the controller kinda awkwardly,
I recommend running up and just walking around near the top to get a feel for where the void zones are. When doing this trick youre baaaarely not touching them. Also to make the superjump up, you need to be on the upper part of the ledge. If you slip down youll probably jump into the void zone or hit the wall. You have to wait a little bit after the wolfos runs away to release the Midna charge, too early and youll just dive into the trigger, but you dont need to wait for it to get to its final position. If you want to be safe you can just hold there for as long as you want and let the Midna charge release automatically.
Other details are kinda out of the scope of a youtube description. Mess around with this yourself!
