...It's #toptipsontuesdays again & this week I want to give you a tip on an easier way to process inner barks for cordage called "retting".
.
...It's a simple process where you simply soak the bark in water for a period of time to let the bacterial action in the water break down the binding plant matter between the layers of fibres. This will make the different layers separate easier & is a great way to process larger amounts of bark too.
