...I'm a tad late for #fireitupfriday this week but here's what I intended to post yesterday.

...I was getting a bit discouraged with my bow building skills after another failure with with some black mulberry but after seeing @nwprimates recent post showing a bunch of his fails I realised that breaking them is just a part of making them.
.
...Anyway I was clearing up & came across this failed mulberry bow & realised I'd never considered mulberry for the fire plough so I thought I'd give it a bash.
.
...Well I've got to say I was on the point of giving up with this, thinking that it just wasn't a suitable material, but I gave it a last ditch attempt & luckily I just managed to coax an ember from it.
