Today we are dipping our toes into the wonderful world of amaro. If you aren't familiar, amaro is a category of bittersweet liqueurs that originally comes from Italy, though nowadays they are produced all over the world.

If you are new to amaro it can be intimidating and confusing. In this episode I offer some tips and recipes for how they can be used in three tasty daiquiris, as well as some recommendations for which bottles to check out.

THE GETAWAY
1 oz Cruzan blackstrap rum
1 oz lemon juice
1/2 oz Cynar
1/2 oz simple syrup

WONDER CITY DAIQUIRI (TTMG ORIGINAL)
1 1/2 oz Owney’s NYC rum
3/4 oz St. Agrestis
3/4 oz lemon juice
3/4 oz simple syrup

BILLY SUNDAY AMARO DAIQUIRI
1 oz Braulio Amaro
1 oz. Sfumato Rababaro
3/4 oz of 1:1 simple syrup
3/4 oz fresh lime juice
