Happy Old Fashioned week! Episode 4 of Through the Mixing Glass features rye whiskey and a mixing glass. It's about time!

This Old Fashioned riff has been around since at least 1941 and couldn't be easier to make. Try it out and let me know what you think in the comments!

Fancy Free
2oz rye whiskey
1/2 maraschino
1 dash Angostura bitters
1 dash orange bitters
- Stir over ice and strain into a rocks glass with a fresh ice cube
- Garnish with an orange peel
