Dayton City Hall (Ohio) has been a cornucopia of incompetence for KULT News over the years and it seems to start with their Chief of Staff, Verletta Jackson, and just rolls downhill like a turd.
This is our THIRD visit to Dayton City Hall and let’s just say that if ignorance were dynomite you sure wouldn’t want to smoke in there.
We found the Post Office down the street from City Hall to be even worse. An employee at the USPS calls 911 on us THREE TIMES and her last call lasts over half an hour!
Will the responding officers recognize and respect our rights or will they try to violate them?

Laws may vary but, generally speaking, in the United States, if you are in public you are legally able to photograph whatever you can see. Simply put, your eyes can’t be trespassed. Obviously there are some restrictions on this (i.e., bathrooms, dressing rooms, most courtrooms, locker rooms, etc.) but very few when you are in public. If you can see it, you can shoot it (this rule only applies to cameras.) This is not legal advice.
