Without protein phosphorylation, our cells wouldn’t function properly. It’s essential for their communication to control things like cell growth and metabolism.

At the MRC Protein Phosphorylation and Ubiquitylation Unit (no we can't say it either, check our stories for evidence), researchers are studying these essential cellular processes and how diseases like cancer occur when things go wrong, so we can develop better treatments.
