The Unfinished Obelisk in Aswan, Egypt is the largest known ancient obelisk. It was possibly ordered by Queen Hatshepsut over 3,500 years ago as a companion to another obelisk It was buried under the sand for thousands of years before being discovered in the early 20th century.
