One of the best day trips from Amsterdam is to visit the Keukenhof Gardens in Lisse in the Netherlands. Keukenhof features 7 million newly planted flower bulbs, including millions of tulips, and the flower displays are stunning. Millions of multi-colored flowers that are in bloom from mid-March to mid-May. In addition to seeing the flower displays both inside and outside, you can also take a 45-minute canal cruise that takes you next to colorful flower fields, as the rows of flowers seem endless.
