For several decades, the idea that squats (or more generally training legs) is required to "get big" has persisted. Usually this argument is made based on the hormonal response to those exercises. But, basically, it's bullshit. So let's look at some facts related to the topic and hopefully get past this nonsensical idea once and for all.
