Measuring Hypertrophy: Cell Swelling Rides Again  @lylemcdonaldisright

It's time to look at the issue of cell swelling after training again. A few weeks back I looked at a paper by Buckner et. al (link at the end of this video) bringing up the issue, as I have for years, that the apparently magic results of a certain lab may be skewed by the issue of cell swelling.

Other labs do it too because they all assume that cell swelling is gone after 48 hours or so.

Which is being based on ONE study of subjects doing THREE sets of bench press.

Because there's no guarantee that cell swelling is gone 48 hours after, say....15 f'ing sets of lower body as in Brad's volume study. Or 16 in the Brigatto study.

No good scientist would make such an extrapolation. But these aren't good scientists.

Well today I look at a paper that, while not looking at volume per se does turn up another nuance that may be coloring this. Read on to be SHOCKED.
