The #1 thing I wanted to do during my 2 1/2 week trip to Egypt was to see the Pyramids, so this was a dream come true. The Great Pyramid is the largest and perhaps most well-known of the three main pyramids. It was built by King Khufu over 4,500 years ago as a tomb, to make sure he would make it to the Afterlife.
