Or Tor Kor Farmer's Market in Bangkok is one of the top fresh markets in the world, and in fact, was ranked as the World's 4th Best Fresh Market by CNN Travel. This is a high-end market where locals and chefs buy fresh Thai ingredients such as fruits, vegetables, chili paste, noodles, seafood, and much more. Speaking of fruits, you can purchase Durian, "the stinky fruit," which is banned on public transportation, airplanes, and hotels, because of its foul smell. There's a great food court here as well. There are about 600 stalls here, and my guide and I walked around the market to take in all the sights, sounds, and smells!
