Wat Phra That Doi Kham, meaning Temple of the Golden Mountain, is a 1,300 year-old temple complex located not far from Chiang Mai, Thailand. It features three giant Buddhas, a beautifully decorated Ordination Hall, a golden chedi, and much more. Besides seeing the beauty of the Thai architecture here, you will also hear about some very interesting ancient legends surrounding the origins of the temple related to the Buddha. There's also a more recent legend related to winning the lottery!
