The Grave of Anthony Reynolds from Co. Tyrone - “and tho a miller was an honest man”

Here’s a great headstone that John Flynn of Campile showed me yesterday in Kinnagh Graveyard outside of Gusserane in south west Wexford. It is the grave of a man from Co. Tyrone who died in 1790 aged 33 years old. The inscription on the headstone is really interesting, as Anthony was a miller, there is a suggestion that millers were not the most honest sorts back in the day. I’ll let John explain.
