Blegh. Most boss fights in this game are straight forward and fairly easy if you know what you're doing. This fight is not most boss fights. It's RNG as hell which compounds on the fact that it is LONG.
You have to make two parties here to do three fights in sequence, and you get a single opportunity to switch from party 1 to party 2. Phase 1 isn't too bad as long as you can get rid of summons quickly, as the sisters will only use bomb reload into spell cards if 2 helpers are on the field, and phase 2 is mostly a breather phase, but it still toss shit like Maenad and Stone Shower at you, and you have to finish it within 9 turns or phase 3 will be impossible. Phase 3 is... well, if the boss wants you to die, you're gonna die. In this run she just went for two land amps immediately to charge up for Supervoid Cavitation, and even if I didn't mistime the Little Legion (apparently it only absorbs fire/ice or elec/earth land, not light/dark), Alice wouldn't have survived it so all it can do is buy me one more turn. That's why I abandoned putting Patchouli on party 2, since trying to survive more than a few turns in phase 3 is extremely inconsistent anyways, so might as well go for as much offense as I can dare to cram. Phase 1 at least isn't too bad with this setup since Fence of Defense will make slow your party down to a crawl, meaning the summons will for the most part not be able to do much, if anything.
