You know how the original regenerates 25% of its HP per turn and thus requires you to coordinate attacks to overcome it? Well the rematch regenerates 40% of its HP per turn, and it comes with high defenses because it's the postgame, man, go high defense or go home. Or something. Still, the dev did mercifully remove all its HVY resistance so you could still do some physical damage (but not SIL resistance so mages are out of luck). Its TRR resistances are all gone, too, but that's kinda irrelevant unless you want to try hitting its 500 DRK affinity with Jealousy or use Warrior Kogasa or something. The idea of the fight is still the same; debuff its SPD/DEF and inflict HVY, wait for its Devil's Crime which it uses every other turn, and then try to cram as much damage down its throat as you can, it's just far more unforgiving if your physical attackers don't have the right elements.
