Flying does not exist.
A strange statement, since it's clearly meant for Pokémon with wings. But that's aesthetics. I'm talking game design.
In terms of game design, Flying lacks a clear identity, with all Flying Pokémon and Moves having seemingly nothing in common. And its progression across the ages also feels similarly lost and confused.
To understand, let's look at the history of the Flying Type, and analyse how it changed across the generations.
