Only one Bird Pokemon has ever existed. This is the story of how it's Type came to be.
Before Pokemon Red and Blue began, there was an unused Type in the game's data - the Bird Type. Not to be confused with the Flying Type.
This was seemingly removed before the game's release. But what led Game Freak to that decision?
