The Dolomites is a spectacular and awe-inspiring UNESCO World Heritage site in northern Italy, right at the far eastern end of the Alps. It's a sprawling group of national parks and nature reserves covering forests, peaks, lakes and some small towns. The whole area is an adventurer's paradise - in summer for hiking, cycling, kayaking and mountain climbing; in winter for skiing, boarding, and snowshoeing. It's one of the most impressive landscapes we've seen, enjoy!
