The Historic Centre of Warsaw UNESCO World Heritage Site is a fascinating place. The old town dates back centuries and has many beautiful buildings, but was left in ruins by the horrors of World War Two (particularly during the Warsaw Uprising). After the war the historic centre was rebuilt almost brick-for-brick, and these days you wouldn't even know it had been destroyed. Let's have a look around!
