The Old City of Zamość UNESCO World Heritage Site is a small trading post town in eastern Poland. It was founded in the 16th century by a local aristocrat named Jan Zamoski, who wanted to create a trading hub like the towns of northern Italy. So he hired an architect, and they got to work!
