The Thracian Tomb of Sveshtari is an intriguing UNESCO World Heritage site in Bulgaria. It's a tomb, probably a royal tomb, from the Thracian period of Bulgarian history - around 300 BC, before the Roman conquest. Not much remains from this period, so it's fascinating to see this history close up and in detail!
