We had a great time running lots of upskilling workshops for participants of KEEPERFEST at Jimmys Farm While part of the BITE team ran rope splicing workshops as well as fire hose workshops, the rest of the team concentrated on the 'big build' in the goat enclosure.
Over the course of four practical sessions (with lots of prep work in between), the goat structure was built. Designed to allow the goat's space to climb, feed at height, as well as use it for shade, it came together brilliantly. The structure features two bungee feeders, one rotating feeder, two trip-trap bridges, as well as a wobbly fire hose bridge. Each area features at least two ways to get on/off so that no goats become trapped, and we love how it turned out.
A huge well done to everyone who took part in our sessions across the weekend, it was great to meet you all, and hopefully, we will see a lot of you again in the future.
