It has been a few weeks now since we welcomed a fantastic group to Yorkshire Wildlife Park for a team-building day, who helped to transform part of the cotton topped tamarin enclosure.
We did some prep work in the enclosure, with the removal of old ropes, digging some holes, and putting up a load more ropes ready for the structures to hang on them.
During the team-building event, the group created so many items. From platforms to suspended perching, chestnut arms which held bamboo feeders. The group did a fantastic job, and then it was over to us to get it all installed.
This was not an easy task, with the enclosure being in the middle of the park and no vehicle access. But the BITE team got it done, ready for the group to arrive to check out the cotton tops exploring the area for the first time.
A huge well done to the group, you did an amazing job!
