We were recently joined by an awesome group for a full-day team-building event at @YorkshireWildlifeParkTV. During the event, we worked directly inside the giant otter enclosure to create a three-level platform, complete with a ramp, along with a smaller version inside the shut-off area. The group did a fantastic job, and at the end of the day, the otters were let back into their enclosure to see what had been made.
As expected, they were interested, but not quite brave enough to go and explore it, which is quite a sensible response to something new and large. But two days later, we were sent some lovely footage of them on the lower level, with some encouragement of food. It won't be long before they are using it for its intended purpose, sunbathing and a diving board.
A huge well done to the group for creating this, it looks amazing. And thank you to Amy for YWP for the lovely footage, it's really appreciated.
