In The Antlers are Blowing In The Wind, Fergy and Paulie avoid Langston during hurricane season, when they're suddenly joined by a Moojoo named Machi who's also decided she wants nothing to do with party duty. Thus the three form an unbreakable friendship. Or maybe it's just a slightly resilient friendship. So I don't understand what Machi's problem is. She says that she's humiliated to go to parties because she was mocked for her antlers that prevented her from being shot by the cannon. Which, in that case, doesn't that mean she's excused? Why is Langston after her when she's ineligible for party duty? And this is a petty complaint, but I don't like her voice. The actress is using a tone that makes her sound overly sweet and precious, and it's the audio equivalent of diabetes. She sounds like the daughter from Stressed Eric if she couldn't decide if she wanted to do a Canadian or Minnesotan accent. That aside, the rest of the episode I guess is decent. We get a montage of the three new best friends bonding over their dislike of Langston, but it soon becomes clear Machi's size makes hiding from the toad a little difficult, and soon Paulie and Fergy are having second thoughts. Which are then tossed aside as it's shown Machi's antlers can pick up and send broadcasts, allowing them to track Langston's movements, and even throw him off. But they really come in handy when the broadcast tower is destroyed and she's needed to save Pecky and Hudson. Resulting in her finally finding a place on the island. So decent plot with some decent gags, like the duo having to disguise her as a moose head to avoid Langston. While he tears apart the room trying to find them, accompanied by various wacky sound effects. I don't know if I can call the episode great, but it's watchable with a good lesson. Though how is Machi as a baby less cute than the other two?
