ALANNA UBACH (Coco, Euphoria) and SCOTT GRIMES (American Dad, The Orville) sit down to discuss their roles as Susan and Matt Bennett in the highly anticipated 'Ted' series.
#Ted is an upcoming American comedy television series created by #SethMacFarlane for Peacock. The third instalment in the Ted franchise, it serves as a prequel to the feature films, with MacFarlane reprising his role as the voice of the titular character.
In this comedic prequel event series to the Ted films, it's 1993, and Ted the bear’s (Seth MacFarlane) moment of fame has passed. He’s now living back home in Framingham, Massachusetts with his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett (Max Burkholder), along with John’s parents, Matty and Susan (Scott Grimes and Alanna Ubach) and cousin Blaire (Giorgia Whigham). Ted may be a lousy influence on John, but at the end of the day, he’s a loyal pal who’s always willing to go out on a limb for friendship.
TED stars Seth MacFarlane as the voice of Ted, Alanna Ubach as Susan Bennett, Scott Grimes as Matty Bennett, Max Burkholder as John Bennett and Giorgia Whigham as Blaire.
Both Ubach and Grimes are seasoned character actors, and more importantly, seasoned voice actors, which fits into the 'animated' worlds MacFarlane often creates. The two show the amazing chemistry they have on screen, the fun they create is contagious, and talk about their classic sitcom influences when creating Susan and Matty.
It is set to premiere on January 11, 2024.
