The Synology device setup wizard has always been very simple, easy to configure and user friendly.
In this quick tech 5 we have seen how the new DSM 7 device setup wizard has been changed in design and context.

For example, in the Synology DSM 7 Device Setup Wizard, unlike in DSM 6, there is no quickconnect setup screen, instead there are several new screens to configure new features. the device wizard will also prompt the user to configure a storage pool and volume right after the Device Setup Wizard is complete.

Synology DSM 7 Device Setup Wizard is super responsive and as intuitive as in DSM 6. it fits the new DSM 7 design language very well and gives the device setup experience a new vibe.
