Install Windows 11 RTM on a Synology NAS quick and easy with Synology Virtual Machine Manager. Since Synology NAS devices do not have a TPM Module, we will need to tweak thing a little in order to get this installation going.
When you Install Windows 11 RTM on a Synology NAS you will need to take several things into consideration and most importantly, the method shown in this video is a valid method to bypass the hardware prerequisites but, Installing Windows 11 RTM on a Synology NAS or on any other hypervisor using this method will disqualify your virtual machine from getting security updates from Microsoft. Over time, this might cause your Windows 11 VM to be highly vulnerable.
To Install Windows 11 RTM on a Synology NAS as a virtual machine in Synology Virtual Machine Manager, you will of course need a windows 11 ISO file and preferably, a product key \ license to use if you are planning a long term use.
Installing Windows 11 RTM on a Synology NAS after applying the steps demonstrated in this video is almost identical to installing Windows 10. almost exactly the same setup process.
