DIY Mesh WiFi With DD-WRT in a completely free and open source variation using old devices you may have in storage or collecting dust somewhere. with DD-WRT you can bring new life into these devices.
Unlike a few years ago, today, WiFi Mesh systems are sold almost everywhere and they are almost completely plug and play. With our DIY Mesh WiFi With DD-WRT you can save several hundred dollars and completely do it yourself for free. plus, there is a fair amount of satisfaction when doing things yourself with your own 10 fingers.
As a tech geek, I do appreciate the DIY approach of getting things done. this is why i have been using DD-WRT for many years in my home lab and have also "converted" many of my friends to DD-WRT lovers. A DIY Mesh WiFi With DD-WRT is maybe a time travel back to the past but it is still stable, easy to use, free and open source.
In order to follow along this video with your own gear to create a DIY Mesh WiFi With DD-WRT make sure you are using a DD-WRT capable device, preferably a dual band device, and more importantly, try to grab devices that are from the same manufacturer and even better, the same model. this will increase your chances for a stable deployment.
