The Blue Cave on Biševo island in Croatia was one of the stops on our Croatia island hopping cruise, and it features the stunning natural iridescent blue glow of the seawater due to the sunlight entering the cave at a certain angle, and reflecting off the sandy bottom of the cave. While locals had known about the cave for a while, it was an Austrian baron who told the world about it in 1884. The water is about 50 feet deep and you can see the bottom. While your visit inside the cave is a short one, you will have memories that last a lifetime. Oh, and don't forget to duck as you enter the cave entrance!
