The goal of healing isn’t to become someone who never gets triggered. You’re human. Triggers are part of being alive.

The real goal is learning to trust yourself when they happen.

To slow down instead of spiraling. To get grounded instead of disappearing into fear. To find your way back to yourself with compassion instead of shame.

That’s where healing becomes sustainable - not in avoiding hard emotions, but in building a relationship with yourself that can hold them.

And sometimes that means getting curious about the different “parts” inside of you. The scared part. The angry part. The hypervigilant part. The people-pleasing part.

Not because those parts are bad. But because they’ve all been trying to protect you in the only ways they knew how.

Healing begins when you stop fighting yourself and start listening.
