Diana once did a podcast episode on grief, and she said something that stuck with me: The deeper you love someone, the deeper the grief.

And it doesn’t just happen when someone dies. It can happen when the love you long for… doesn’t come back. When it isn’t reciprocated.

You feel the gap. The ache. The loss of what should have been. That’s grief, too.

And when the love was deep, the grief is, too.

Writing it out, speaking it out, naming it, it doesn’t erase the pain. But it makes it bearable. It makes it livable.
