Sometimes you have to slow down to realize exactly where you’re heading. Welcome to a somewhat lazy, peaceful Sunday morning with us at Sheraton Park Farms.

We kick the day off the best way we know how—out on the porch with Saundra firing up the Blackstone griddle for a hearty farm breakfast. Once we’re fueled up, we head inside to the kitchen for a quick tour of our larder, checking in on our cabinet inventory of homegrown, freeze-dried goods that help keep our pantry self-sufficient all year round.

Next, we take a relaxing stroll through the garden rows to see how our summer crops are exploding with growth. While we’re out there, the tomatoes are getting tall enough that they need immediate support, so we get to work driving in structural tomato stakes to keep the heavy vines healthy, off the dirt, and upright.

To wrap up the day, Chuck sits down to share a candid, honest message that has been on his mind lately. In a world full of social media blueprints, it is so easy to fall into the trap of copying exactly how everyone else runs their homestead or business. Chuck breaks down why you have to be willing to mix things up, experiment, trust your gut, and grow things YOUR individual way.

Farming isn't a one-size-fits-all journey—it’s about finding what works for your land and your family.
