SPRQ-Nx chemistry reduces HiFi genome costs by 30 to 40% by enabling SMRT Cell reuse on the Revio system -- with no changes to library prep, no hardware upgrades, and consistent variant calling performance across uses.
In this webinar, PacBio product manager Matthew Boitano introduces SPRQ-Nx multiuse SMRT Cell chemistry, including expanded 5hmC methylation detection alongside 5mC and 6mA. Two beta site speakers share real-world results: Margaret Gibson from Children's Mercy Hospital, where HiFi long-read sequencing has increased diagnostic findings by 10% over standard of care in pediatric rare disease, and Katherine Munson from the University of Washington Long Read Sequencing Center, where SPRQ-Nx delivered equivalent or higher yield and quality scores for HiFi and Fiber-seq libraries, with similar performance using Kinnex kits.
*What you'll learn*
- Evaluate how SPRQ-Nx multiuse SMRT Cells lower per-genome costs by 30 to 40% with the same library prep and instruments
- Compare SPRQ-Nx beta performance data across HiFi, Fiber-seq, and Kinnex library types from 2 independent sites
- Assess the impact of HiFi long-read sequencing, including 37% diagnostic findings versus 26% for standard of care testing
- Understand how 5hmC detection expands multiomic capabilities at no additional cost or library prep steps
*Featured speakers*
- Matthew Boitano, Sr. Staff Product Manager (PacBio)
- Margaret Gibson, MBA, MB(ASCP)CM, Clinical Laboratory Manager (Children's Mercy Hospital)
- Katherine M. Munson, Research Scientist/Engineer (University of Washington)
