During the winter holiday I wanted to play some easy, chill games and The Patrick Star game seemed exactly that. Rather than a 3D platform adventure, it is a free roam game where you get to partake in various minigames. There is no real danger here and you are free to explore the different colorful areas and interact with the quirky cast from the show. There are racing minigames, destruction derby minigames, flying minigames etc.
Some of the minigames do get repeated a bit more than I would like. Each character has their own type of minigame and it would have been cool to see SpongeBob have different minigames than shooting the crates with coconuts. All in all it was a fun time, but I do think there is more potential here. It is very short and also very easy. There are still plenty of SpongeBob games out there that I have not archived yet, so I am sure I will go on many more adventures with this cast.
